400 in australia

I have aquired a rare article from the 1940’s about the introduction of the 400 to Australia. The photograph on the cover of the publication refers to the Fraser Nash Bristol. Nothing special, but might be of interest to some.

I would like to share the article with any forum member who may be interested. To receive the scanned items as one .pdf attachment please email a request to me at bristol@davedale.co.uk. On previous occasions I have had many requests to see items that I have scanned.  Please be be patient and be prepared to wait for a reply as it is easier for me to do nothing until all requests have been received and then I can send out the scan to all, as one mass mailing. Many thanks.

Dave Dale.

BODA AGM – Have your say

Chelt Chase

The AGM will be held at 16.00 on Saturday 4th October 2014 in the Cathedral Room at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel, Shurdington Road, Brockworth, Gloucestershire, GL3 4PB.

In the evening there will be a meal with a talk about Captain Marendez, a decorated WW1 flyer and sports car manufacturer. This will be given by Graham Skillen who owns one of the Marendez Specials. The following day we are aiming to go down to Castle Coombe for their classic event that has a Bristol theme courtesy of Peter Campbell who has arranged a space for Bristol cars to be displayed on behalf of the Heritage Trust to celebrate 60 years since Bristol won the 2 litre class at Le Mans.

Meteoric rise in the value of 408’s.

A 408 is now worth up to £250000.
