DESCRIPTION:Join us at the UK’s biggest and best Classic Motor Show Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show\, with discovery+ Friday 11 – Sunday 13 November 2022 NEC Birmingham \nSave by booking tickets in advance at www.necclassicmotorshow.com \nClub members save £4 off single-day adult tickets or £2 off other ticket types by quoting the club code published on the show advert in the Newsletter. \nBook tickets by 20 October to help the club earn additional benefits\, club ticket discounts available until 10 November. \nThe NEC in Birmingham is this year from 11 to 13 November and BODA will again have a stand. Last year we were very late in starting our preparations so this year we are starting early with the aim of preparing an interesting exhibit showing off Bristol cars\, encouraging people to buy them and hopefully also join BODA. \nWe are looking for members who would like to take the opportunity to show their car at this year’s event. SUMMARY:Shelsley Walsh Classic Nostalgia
DESCRIPTION:Shelsley Walsh Classic Nostalgia \nThis event is now in its 11th year and has in the past been a great venue to see a selection of interesting cars and view a great sporting event\, see www.classicnostalgia.co.uk .  It would be possible to organise a BODA event if we had sufficient members interested in attending.  \nEntry to the event is £15 per person if you come in a pre-1985 vehicle\, (£20 in a newer vehicle) so the cost is not huge and if there is interest\, it would be planned to register BODA to attend on Sunday 17 July.  If you are interested please contact Mike Hallissey by 5 July.  If there is sufficient interest we will book a club space and bring the BODA flags and gazebo if it has been delivered.

SUMMARY:BODA at the Standard Motor Club International Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Association has been invited to Join the Standard Motor Club at their International Meeting which is being held at the Venue Cranfield over the weekend of 24th to 26th June. We have partnered with the Standard Motor Club on a number of occasions in the past and they have been very enjoyable events.  \nAn entry form is attached or you can book through the webshop\, click here\,\n Standard Motor Club International Rally \nBODA members will be able to phone Venue Cranfield to book hotel accommodation using the code 2022 Classic Car Event reference 285148 which is given on the form. The SMC does not take accommodation bookings. \nEntry to the rally is £10 per car and entrants have the option to book Bletchley Park (Friday) and Shuttleworth (Saturday) with the group rate as described on the entry form and on the webshop. There are two forms on the webshop\, one for entry and the other for the visits. \nWhen entering the rally BODA members should book Open Class\, either Class 12 or Class 13 depending on the age of the car. BODA members will be able to park together and be in a BODA Class. We can then arrange to judge our own cars and provide our own prizes if we wish. \nRegister\neither online at the webshop Standard Motor Club International Rally 2022\nor\nby downloading\, filling out\, and returning the registration form
