400 brake hoses
Hi
I am new to Bristols and am trying to restore my braking sytem and seem to have an air leak somewhere so I am considering replacing the flexible brake hoses- the car has been off the road for 20 plus years. So can anyone help with some information on the correct hose diameter and fittings etc and the lengths if I get them pre-assembled ( It looks like there are 6 flexible hoses in total) There seems to be a choice of materials and braiding too of which I have no experience so any thoughts on that pelase?

It would be far easier for you if you contacted Graeme Payne at CBCPC as he should have all the hoses you need in stock.

I have done that and ordered a set of hoses (only 3no it turns out) from Graeme Payne

That's great I was sure Graeme would be able to sort you out as he keeps all the fast moving stuff but also more than you might expect to help with the repair and restoration of our older cars.
