Joint meeting with Facel Vega Car Club at Shuttleworth Best of British Air Show

Sunday 2nd July Whilst it can be hoped that Bristol motor cars will not remain out of production for much longer, BODA intends to participate in this celebration of “late” British car marques at Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire PE9 3JY.  Further details to follow.

Taking place at Hall Park, Rushden, Northants, on Sunday 6 August from 11am to 4pm. Pre-registration is essential and costs £5 per vehicle – bookable at www.ticketsource.co.uk/rhts/rushden-classic-car-show/e-xaloyo It is hoped that any Bristols attending will park up together. All Bristols will be welcome to this event, where we expect to have a dedicated display area alongside that of the FVCC.  Further details will be circulated shortly but please will those interested in attending drop a short line to Chris Dady at cmdady@btinternet.com

BODA has made enquiries about having a club stand at this increasingly popular event (previously known as the Silverstone Classic) for the first time.  Our participation will certainly depend upon the availability of sufficient volunteers.  Further details to follow.

In aid of the Strawberry Line cafe at Yatton station.  The organisers are also requesting experience trips of approx. 3 miles for which the incentive of a breakfast roll and cream tea is the offer!  Would anyone interested in attending please contact Warwick Hulme at warwick.hulme@btinternet.com
